THEEWALKINGPARTY: Is this something you intend to pursue as a career?
Ashley: I would love for this to become a career venture and yes, I planned on it being a career when I was younger, but I am more realistic now. I am planning on owning several businesses after I graduate from Howard in case this career doesn't work out.
TWP: What inspires you to aim towards this goal?
Ashley: When I was six my mom put me in a modeling class just to give me something to do and ever since then I kind of ran with it. I love modeling, both runway and print and until I grew to love fashion, I couldn't see myself doing anything else.
TWP: What was the weirdest situation or most tedious task you had on a set or show?
Ashley: The weirdest situation so far was when I had to feed another model fruit while his girlfriend sat there and stared at me. It was more so awkward than weird.
